What a lovely wedding this was. Edward and Diane are friends of a dear friend of ours who has a gorgeous cottage near us. It was such a privilege to be asked to create their wedding flowers. The heat was incredible and I had to work very hard to keep the flowers fresh - but we got there!
Everything looked beautiful and all were very happy.
We decided on a muted palette of soft greens, ivories and whites. We used green thistle and ammi to soften the look and bring a real summery feel.
The weather continued to be beautiful and Edward and Diane enjoyed a trip around the Hebrides before returning to New Zealand where they live. Edward is originally from Glasgow and that was something that drew them to be married here in Scotland - and they could not have chosen a better year for perfect summer weather.
It was a great experience to meet such lovely people and share in their very special day.
