Jane is a bride after my own heart. A girl who loves flowers and loves to garden. Some of the flowers we used for her wedding at Lunga House were grown by Jane herself which added a special touch. We had such fun styling her wedding flowers. A joy to work with. Here is part of Jane's letter to me...
Hi Gill,
Words cannot express how happy I was and still am with my wedding flowers! You far exceeded my expectations, which as you know were very high as I had already sacked 2 florists before coming to you. Flowers are a big part of me and what I love - so it was with huge delight that I walked down the aisle with your bouquet, the big one containing things from my garden, truly very special!!
All the best,
Jane x
I just love this photograph of Iain and Jane; it is so full of happiness...

Jane chose a palette of beautiful blues and silvery greens in keeping with the coastal setting of lovely Lunga. |

There's going to be a wedding. Nearly time, and here on their way to the wedding ceremony on a glorious September day |
Below are some Sweet Peas Jane grew. I was so delighted when Iain and Jane arrived at my flower studio with buckets of flowers from her garden. It made it all so much more special. The studio was full of all the flowers I had bought for the wedding and then Jane's. The scents were heavenly!

Bubbles in the air. How could you not smile! |

Two of my Summer favourites; Sweet Peas in lavenders and deep purply blue hues and gorgeous Delphiniums. |
Happy day!...
Buttonholes and bridal bouquet; wrist corsages for the maids and a corsage with Hydrangea, rose and a little petal or two of delphinium for Iain's Mother. A rose and Delphinium for Iain. Such a lovely photograph of Iain and his Mother.

Nosegays of flowers for each place setting . |

A still life within the studio. I liked the jade green of this old mincer set against the textures and blues of the flowers. Still to paint it though! |

I simply adore this photograph of Jane . It needs no further comment ... |
